Founder and President

Founded by Aaron Shocket in 1991, with just a few employees and one customer, Parking Solutions has expanded to over 100 operations in five states, with more than 1,000 employees.  From its initial concentration on valet parking, the company has developed a full range of parking services, including mall and lifestyle center parking, hospitality services, hotel attendant services, large-scale garage management, surface lot operation, shuttle bus services, and consultation. 

Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, Parking Solutions currently manages parking services throughout the Mid-Western United States. Corporate administrative functions are housed at our headquarters while regional and local offices provide hands-on management of local service operations.

Business Today featured Aaron as one of Columbus's successful young entrepreneurs in its premier issue in May of 1993. Since that time, growth has been steady and significant with average annual growth rates exceeding 25%.

Aaron is an active member of Young Entrepreneur Organization and served as one of it's most successful membership chairs. He is also very active in Big Brothers/Big Sisters, United Way, Easter Seals, Wexner Center for the Arts and the Columbus Museum of Art. He has served on a variety of Central Ohio boards including Columbus Jewish Foundation, Columbus Jewish Federation and Hillel.

While Aaron is focused on successfully steering his company through the next five years of strategic growth, he still has an eye on the future. His long-term goal is to apply the principals of people management utilized at PSI to multiple business segments.
