GARAGE MANGER, Champaign, IL

Need a flexible individual that possesses a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.  The Garage Manager reports directly to the Area Manager.   This position is responsible for enforcing the policies and procedures, managing personnel, and the day to day operations of the parking garage.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage traffic flow entering and exiting the facility and adjusting staffing levels as appropriate
• Working hand-in-hand with on-site security regarding all safety and security needs
• Following up with Client in regards to pending issues
• Supervising and training cashiers on site policies and procedures with an emphasis on appearance and customer service
• Following up with maintenance personnel on daily and regularly scheduledcleaning duties
• Supervise the quality of work for all employees to ensure that all work tasks and assignments are performed efficiently, effectively, and as required
• Ensure that proper parking, security, cash control and customer service procedures are being followed by all employees
• Supervise special eventsas they relate to the parking facility in order to ensure that incoming customers are served efficiently
• Walking facility nightly to ensure that equipment and lights are working while paying attention to potential hazards
• Audit daily tickets and reconcile shifts reports as necessary
• Make changes to monthly parking accounts using the ScannetSoftware
• AssistDay Manager and Office Manager on projects as required

Skill Set/Qualifications

• Qualified candidates must possess excellent verbalcommunication skills
• It is preferred thatcandidateshave prior supervisory or management experience
• Qualified candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Word,Excel and Outlook
• 2 year degree preferred
