PT Lead Valets

Job Description: 

We are in search of a service-centric Lead Valet for upscale downtown locations. The Lead Valet will handle the parking needs of patron and guests. The candidate will ensure that all valets meet company standards for performance, customer service and appearance.  They will also do on the job training for new valets in regard to service procedures, parking protocols and company standards.

The duties are as follows, but are not limited to:

 

  • Adherence to corporate policies and procedures; clearly communicates their importance to staff
  • Assure cash control; adherence to company cash handling procedures
  • Set measurable goals and expectations for self and team
  • Insure customer loyalty by providing excellent customer service and responding immediately to customer concerns
  • Provide initial and on-going training and support to staff
    • Assist with grooming of promotable employees
  • Schedule employees to assure adequate staffing at all times
  • Provide timely reports to payroll and Human Resources
  • Participate in the hiring and employee management processes
  • Assure adequate staffing
    • Avoid over-time situations
    • Ability to work extended hours, including nights & weekends
       

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 months experience as valet
  • If current PSI employee, must be in good standing
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Minimum of 2 years of licensed driving experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than a combination of two moving violations and/or accidents, including not at fault, within a three year period.)
  • 3 months experience in driving a manual transmission
  • Ability to drive all types of motor vehicles
  • High School diploma (or equivalent) required
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Judgment skills/ability to deal with customers and employees
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within established guidelines
  • Ability to keep information confidential when specifically requested
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively lead a team
  • Physical requirements include ability to work on feet at a fast pace and to work outdoors in all types of weather
